You get hero points just by leveling up. At lvl 80 you will have exactly enough hero points to unlock all core skills and specializations. Doing hero challenges across zones will reward you with extra hero points that you can use to "speed up" your skill/trait unlocking as you level up. Hero challenges in core tyria offers 1 hero point.
Now you have 2 options:-1. go to a different zone with appropriate level-2. DUNGEONS!At this point i like to stop doing my personal quests, i think about them as a lets say, worst case scenario, where your absuletly need the EXP.At level 30, you will unlock your first dungeon, Ascalonian catacombs. Doesn't matter what order, just tinker your way through--you get +1 Hero Point per core (1-80) Tyria Hero Challenges, and +10 per the Expansion ones. Path of Fire hero points are the easiest, with some End of Dragons being the next easiest, and Heart of Thorns being a mixed bag ranging from "nigh impossible solo" to "click a button and stand I just go to level 80 last week and have been trying to grind hero points in hearts of thorns, path of fire, and Wvw. Are these the only ways to grind hero points fast to level up my elite specialization? Are there any other recommended ways to farm for hero points? Any advice would be greatly appreciate. Just hit level 80 and was wondering how you get more hero points for specialization? (only have HoT and PoF) The Hero Challenges in HoT and PoF give 10 each, way more effective than scrambling them by in the core maps.
