Its up to personal preference of course but pve thief can be pretty braindead by spamming 1, dodging, and sometimes 3. The elite spec daredevil can output some pretty good numbers relatively easy by just dodging and spamming 1-2 skills.
CLEAN INVENTORIES. GEARING PROCESS. STATS. Here's a BEGINNER'S GUIDE to the fundamentals of Guild Wars 2 if you've just boosted to level 80 or need a refresh
The Best Specialization For The Elementalist. This build uses a specialization called Weaver, which can only be obtained by owning the Path of Fire expansion for Guild Wars 2. If you're in the Open World, you may want to use the Water specialization instead of the Fire specialization.
It was time to take a look at the classes and what roles they can cover as the last few balance patches changed things quite a bit. Builds are also included For Revenant, legend swapping is a huge thing to consider. Other classes usually rely on swapping weapons (or kits/attunements for Engineer and Elementalist), but for Revenant swapping legends can be even more important. First, you do recover energy when swapping legends, allowing you to use more skills. Take some condi cleanse through utilities or traits. Play a little conservatively. It is easy to be optimistic and think you can burst down multiple people, but I think the best way to play it is to try and stay alive first, while doing damage. At low levels some people may spam chat with "always fight on points".
Now, thief, engineer, mesmer and elementalist are for more experienced and capable players. That leaves warrior, guardian, ranger and necromancer. Warrior seems to have decent DPS and tank, but I believe that going straight for the enemy and hope for the best wouldn't be the best choice for a starter.
Ofc there is not a best class for everything, depends on game mode and if you are in solo, pug or in static. Overall tho guardian is currently the most worthwhile for most gamemodes tho, also because he has one of the most viable builds and playstyles out there. 1. Fribbtastic • EPIDEMIC :*☆─σ ( ಠ ロ ಠ )ノ • 3 yr. ago. The four classes that fall in between the simple ones and the complicated ones would be Guardian, Necromancer, Mesmer and Thief. Guardian is reliant on boons to make up for its innately low health, Necromancer is a selfish class that doesn't help groups much, Mesmer takes some time to grow into its full potential, and Thief is fragile and Warrior is pretty beginner friendly, so is Druid and Guardian. They all have good damaging skills, easy to use skills (Shouts and Stances are great to use when you are beginning the game) and nice survivability overall. Just stay away from Mesmer and Revenant while you are still getting used to the game.
You can faceroll all 8 classes through PvE. The easiest classes are warrior, necro and guard, though warrior is the easiest of the three. Guardian and ranger are also great choices for learning. If you go ranger, please don't use a longbow and bear: ranger greatsword is one of the best weapons in the game.
Most are pretty easy to understand and i don’t think there’s a class you really should stay away from. That being said, Mesmer and Elementalist are known to have a somewhat high skill floor so you might get frustrated. I think Necromancer, Warrior, and Ranger, on the other hand, are pretty beginner-friendly! 3. Annemi.
